Merchandise and Inventory Stocking

  • Deliver items and inventory from the receiving area to the selling area.
  • Fill and arrange the items on the shelves, and make sure the selling area is organised and exhibits in accordance with the corporate merchandise policy.
  • Place and keep the relevant labels and price tags on objects to ensure accurate labelling and pricing.
  • On a daily basis, identify and separate waste and damaged products while keeping a record of the waste and damaged items.
  • Determine the priority of expiry for slow moving items and sleeping stock, if appropriate.
  • To ensure optimum visibility, make sure your products are facing the right way.
  • Take part in labelling surveys to ensure accurate product price.
  • Ensure that the section area in the warehouse is properly organised. Ensure that the health, safety, and hygiene requirements are followed.

Customer Service

  • Help clients with product inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Guide clients through the store based on their requirements, and always deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Promote add-on sales and keep track of all promotions and marketing.
