Specific Duties

  • Reports in uniform to the housekeeping office to clock in.
  • Picks up daily room reports from the housekeeping office and collects keys from the loss prevention office. In order to prevent the key from being given to anyone and to prevent opening the guest room for anyone.
  • When you find any lost or found things, let the HK Office Coordinator/Shift Leader know ( follow the LSOP in place)
  • Any broken or missing goods should be reported to your shift leader or office coordinator.
  • Contact your shift manager or leader if you have any complaints from guests or associates.
  • Following completion of the cleaning duties, report to thBefore using the cradle, go through the safety checklist and make sure the battery is charged and ready to go.e housekeeping office to sign off on the shift.
  • Anytime a person uses or operates a cradle, they must be accompanied (2 person all the time and not more than 2 persons).
  • The manager/person in charge must provide the concerned department one day’s notice of the cleaning schedule.
  • Take into account the weather; DO NOT OPERATE in windy or severe weather, and do not deviate from the manufacturer’s recommendations.
  • Check the work schedule one day in advance and make sure you have the engineering work permit.
  • Before using the cradle, go through the safety checklist and make sure the battery is charged and ready to go.
  • Make that the higher level switch on the BUFFER PLATE is located on both sides of the safety ropes (should be below 30cm)
  • Make sure you have the PPE, such as a safety belt, helmet, and safety or sunglass.
  • Make sure the area around the work area is uncluttered and that the work-in-progress board is positioned appropriately.
  • When using a cradle to clean VIEWS glass, make sure a third person is assigned at all times. This person will hold and move the cradle as needed by the operator (only required items)
  • Always let your immediate supervisor know both before and after finishing the assignment.
  • The supervisor/manager will conduct refresher training every three months as part of the cradle operator safety programme.
  • The hotel-affiliated company will undergo safety training on a quarterly basis as part of the cradle operator safety at work programme (service provider).

Safety and Security

  • Report any injuries or incidents at work to the manager or shift leader as away.
  • To maintain a tidy, secure, and safe environment, abide by business and departmental safety and security rules and procedures.
  • Report any guest theft complaints to security and loss prevention.

  • Observe department, hotel, and company policies and procedures.
  • Conforms to the rules and regulations set forth by the regional office of Marriott International Hotels
  • Ensure the safety and privacy of visitors and coworkers.
  • Maintain the privacy of confidential information and materials.
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary, professional, and in line with corporate policies and procedures uniform, nametags, and personal appearance.
  • In accordance with corporate policies and procedures, safeguard company tools, machinery, and other assets.
  • Carry out additional, acceptable job responsibilities as directed by management and supervisors.
  • Working as many hours as necessary to complete your tasks, but usually not fewer than 48 per week.
