Job Description:

The Guestroom Attendant position at The Four Seasons Doha Serviced Apartments in Doha is open to those who share their passion for excellence and who bring energy to all they do. Essential Functions:

  • As directed by management and in compliance with hotel standards, cleans and self-inspects guestrooms.
  • Check the cleanliness of every room, whether it is empty or dirty, and look for any supplies or amenities that aren’t there for the guests.
  • Make sure that all specific requests and amenities are fulfilled by thoroughly inspecting every VIP and Special Attention room.
  • When a guest wants an extra pillow or blanket while on the floor, fulfil all of their requests.
  • maintaining clean, properly stocked, and always-closed linen rooms while not in use. You must make sure that all of your workspace’s tools are functional, clean, and organised.
  • Consistently check that all guest accommodations and amenities have been dutifully cleaned, dusted, sanitised, and stocked in accordance with Four Seasons standards of service. They should feel at ease vacuuming and making beds, and they should be able to regularly lift and carry 15-20 pounds. Turndown service, which lightly refreshes the guests for the evening, will also be part of the shifts.
  • The “Do Not Disturb” request, guest requests, and any callbacks must be handled properly by the guestroom attendant.
  • In accordance with protocol and requirements, the guest room’s bedrooms, living rooms, dining rooms, and bathrooms are cleaned, dusted, made up, and disinfected. Clean marble and tile surfaces and vacuum carpet.
  • Take out the used linens from the linen closet and replace them with the clean ones.
  • Plan the removal of room service trays from guests’ rooms with the room service crew.
  • Restock consumables including shampoo, lotions, cotton balls, office supplies, and pens and pencils.
  • To prepare the area before check-in, be familiar with the daily Room Occupancy Forecast, visitor names, and expected arrival times.
  • As soon as you identify a maintenance issue, notify the maintenance team and the housekeeping supervisor.
  • Perform turndown service to make guest rooms pleasant for the evening. Early in the evening, prepare the room for the visitor to sleep in by cleaning and refreshing it.
  • Respond to requests from guests in a kind and professional manner consistent with Four Seasons. Any issue or complaint should be brought up with the manager or management team.
  • Attend the management or supervisor’s daily briefing.
  • Help out with tasks and duties in the laundry, rear of the house, spa, and public areas when there is a lack of staff or a high volume.
  • Assist with any additional divisional assignments or tasks that the management team may assign.
  • The ability to work various shifts, even on holidays.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Holder of a degree, ideally in hotel and tourism management
  • 1-3 years of comparable work experience
  • Arabic and English language proficiency are advantages.
